Located in Lower Swell, just outside Stow-on-the-Wold, the property of Hill Barn consists of two buildings each available for private hire individually or together.

Stone Barn
The smaller of the two buildings, Stone Barn offers a more casual, intimate space suitable for smaller gatherings such as meetings, lunches, dinner parties, shoot breakfasts and drinks receptions. The barn is 1,300 Sq Ft and normally has a maximum capacity of 40 seated and 75 persons standing. Furniture in Stone Barn photos, included in hire.
Dutch Barn
The newly renovated 5,700 Sq Ft Dutch barn can accommodate 150 seated and 250 guests standing, plus staff. It is suitable for conferences, away days, drinks and birthday parties, dinner/dances and wedding receptions*. It’s a great space for photoshoots and product launches and has vehicular access for car launches.
*Please note, Hill Barn is not licensed to hold wedding ceremonies, but there are lots of beautiful churches nearby.

Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Hill Barn is surrounded by stunning countryside offering views from all aspects of the properties.
Facilities
We provide the highest standard of facilities in both of the barns for guest and staff use, including disabled WC access. There is a newly updated kitchen in Stone Barn, with fridge, oven, stove top and dishwashers.
Hill Barn is very much a dry hire venue, so hire fee covers the venue alone and you would need to organise all suppliers, including catering, sound system and furniture hire.

Where to find Hill Barn
You will find Hill Barn just to the south west of Lower Swell, just off the B4068. See map below for the track entrance – click through for google maps directions (or type in Hill Barn into Google Maps). Follow this track about 500metres, all the way to the top and you’ll find Hill Barn.
