We have 16 Red Poll cows that we are milking in a small dairy. Our old milking parlour has been restored and is now up and running.
We feed the cows on a mainly forage-based diet, which makes for excellent quality milk with a high protein content, which is great for cheesemaking.
These cows are also a dual purpose breed so the bull calves can be reared for beef.
